Math Teacher: Frank Kelly

Frank is currently teaching Algebra and Geometry at a high school near Apex. Frank holds a BS from Boston University and a MS from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Prior to teaching, Frank worked in engineering as a product designer and a customer trainer where he discovered a passion for teaching.

Since 1995, Frank has tutored and taught middle school math, Algebra, Geometry, College Statistics, Engineering and Communications. Prior to relocating to NC, Frank taught at the Shenyang Experimental High School, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Northeastern University in Boston.

Individual tutoring and group classes are available for Arithmetic, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Pre-Calculus and Geometry at either our studio or the local library.

Chinese teacher: Vicky Zhang

Born and raised in Mainland China, Ms Vicky Zhang has been living in the US for over 12 years. Studied and graduated from both Shandong University in China and Boston University providing her with the opportunity to study and understand both cultures and speak both languages fluently.

Ms Vicky started her Chinese language tutoring and teaching career in Shanghai in 1997. With about 15 years of teaching experience, she has taught hundreds of students from age 3 to 60 years old in both individual tutoring and class settings.

Ms Vicky moved to NC two years ago. Her most recent position is Chinese teacher at Apex Montessori, Apex, NC. She teaches children from 3 to 15.

Ms Vicky believes interest is the best teacher. Her unique way of teaching makes students fall in love with Chinese learning. She travels to China periodically to learn new Chinese teaching techniques.
